Agency: New truck sales in Russia rise 14% to 4,400 units in Apr
MOSCOW, May 24 (PRIME) -- Sales of new trucks in Russia rose 14% on the year to about 4,400 units in April, analytic agency Autostat said in a statement Tuesday.
Sales of the country’s largest truck maker Kamaz soared by 42% on the year to about 1,700 units in the month; the company accounted for almost 40% of the market. Sales of GAZ Group grew 24.6% on the year to 720 trucks.
In January–April, sales of new trucks in Russia fell 15.3% on the year to about 14,500 units.
